WrightObara have many years of experience working with the Automotive sector. For 15 years Jan Obara was the creative director for Volvo’s European events agency. Jan enjoyed monthly travels to Sweden to ensure the European launch events were in-line creatively with all other marketing activities for the brand. Possibly the highlight of Jan’s time working with Volvo was winning a New York Festival gold award for his work on a corporate Opera at the Gothenburg Opera House, to launch the Volvo S80 to all of the European dealerships. During this time Jan also worked with Nissan and Lexus. Phil Wright worked for 10 years with the VW Audi Group heading up the digital team for seat.co.uk and also the SEAT owners site Club-SEAT and the SEAT Sport site, as well as numerous tactical campaign micro sites.

Jan and Phil worked together on the Audi account for two years, culminating in a legendary event for the UK Heads of Business: an exclusive event for 600 people at the Grand Palais in Paris, with surprise guest entertainment from Take That – a truly memorable occasion.
Since forming WrightObara, we have had the pleasure of working on creative projects for the likes of Lexus and Range Rover.
