Not everything needs a big launch. A lot of growth comes from the consistent steady work in between, keeping your message clear, your assets up to date, and your brand looking and sounding like itself wherever people meet it.
This is the ongoing support that keeps things moving across web, email, social and paid assets, with packaging, POS, trade show and campaign updates when needed.
When we’ve helped shape your foundations and delivered your Campaigns & Creative, the ongoing work becomes far more efficient.
There’s a shared shorthand. We know what matters, what you can credibly claim, what reasons to believe and the evidence to support them need to be present, and what “in keeping” looks like for your brand. This results in fewer lengthy briefs, fewer rounds of rework, and far less time spent getting people up to speed.
The good news is that in practice, that saves time and reduces waste, which usually saves money too.
We also act as brand gatekeepers, so the work stays relevant to the foundations. We protect the craft as much as the consistency, so the work still feels alive, not templated.
HOW IT WORKS:
Ongoing creative support works best when it’s shaped around what you actually need, not what any of us guess you might need.
The reality is that day-to-day support rarely arrives in neat monthly blocks. One month it’s packaging amendments and a brochure design. Another it’s emails, web graphics and a fast-turn campaign update.
So, we do this in two steps:
A short set-up period ( 3 months)
We start on a pay-as-you-go basis while we work together, tracking the requests that come in. Not to create admin, but to spot the patterns: we see what’s regular, what might be seasonal, what’s urgent, and what’s better planned.
A tailored monthly package
After this initial setup period, we should have a clear view of what a typical month looks like for you. We then agree a monthly retainer that works, giving clear boundaries and a practical way of working for both parties.
And it isn’t set in stone. We review it quarterly to make sure it still reflects what you need, and that it’s working for both sides.
A retainer will give you: reassurance and availability, less briefing and rework, and better value over time through smoother delivery and preferred rates. From our side, it helps us plan and support you in the best possible way.
The aim is to achieve consistency, clarity, and keeping momentum between campaign moments.
Ongoing creative support is flexible by design, but it usually includes a mix of:
What isn’t covered
Ongoing creative support is designed for day-to-day delivery and optimisation. It doesn’t include larger, one-off projects such as a new campaign concept and creative route, a full packaging redesign, a new film production, or a full brand identity programme. When those opportunities come up, we can scope them as separate projects, and the retainer means we’re already up to speed.
Ongoing support can lose its value when it becomes a production line. This is where we take a different approach.
We build in a simple review cycle. We agree what ‘better’ means (rate of sale, conversion, buyer confidence) and review against that. We take an iterative approach. We look at what’s working, what’s being misunderstood, and what needs refreshing. Then we refine the work so it improves over time.
To keep this running smoothly, we suggest:
If messaging starts to drift, or we stray too far from the agreed brand foundations, we flag it before it becomes expensive to fix.
This tends to work best when you want:
If you’re not yet confident in the foundations, we can still help. We may simply recommend a short foundations phase first, making the ongoing work more effective and easier to manage.
We agree how we’ll work together, confirm what’s included, and set a clear schedule for account management. After the first few months, it’s sensible to review whether the retainer still reflects the reality of the work, and adjust it if needed.
